One Year Later.

Hi,

Since I haven't posted in over a year (really?), here's the short list of what's up:
  • I quit my job (after 17 years!) This is a good thing. It's a long story, but basically, it's time for something new. Currently I am doing some freelance web design, and pursuing anything else that smells interesting without bothering with a full-time job. Wanna go to lunch? or for a bike ride? Call me...
  • Interestingly enough, one of the last things I got to do with my previous company was go on a business trip to Australia.... I managed to squeze in three days of scuba diving with Pro-Dive cairns (highly recommended)
  • This opens up the question of what do I do now? Get a job at the south pole? Become a professional hang glider? I have been thinking about what to do, and entertaining many crazy and pseudo-crazy ideas.
  • However, I enjoy being a programmer. I've been devoting myself to learning web programming. Currently studying HTML, CSS (see Dan Cedarholm - Thanks Andy), and ASP.net (thanks Kevin).
  • I now am officially a yoga freak. A friend turned me onto Rise Yoga Studio in Greenhaven (south Sacramento, CA), and I love it. Yoga is a combination of stretching, strength building and meditation.
