Coding Horror Halloween Costume

I work as a programmer here in Roseville CA at Pasco Scientific, where we develop data acquisition software that is used in teaching Physics and Life Sciences. Pasco makes lots of nifty gadgets, like the Spark Science Learning System, the Pasco Structures System, and the incredibly accurate Projectile Launcher.

As a programmer Jeff Atwood's Coding Horror Blog, and Steve McConnell's Code Complete books are great sources of information, and I am smarter for having read them...

The Coding Horror Man (left) was originally used in the Code Complete books to illustrate scary code, and has since been adopted by Jeff for his blog logo...

Since I have black hair, and kinda bushy eyebrows and all, I thought it would be great to dress up as the Coding Horror Man for our company Halloween costume contest.

I had a nifty little light that lit my face from below, for that extra scary look:

We had a bunch of great costumes! Check the Tooth Fairy!

Anyhow, Happy Halloween! Have a fun, safe one!

Steve
